JOB DESCRIPTION:

Objective

Lead the development and maintenance of the bank’s business lending capability. Ensure credit originated in the business lending space adheres to the board risk appetite, achieves targeted returns, and supports the bank’s strategic objectives

Qualifications & Experience:

Post graduate degree preferably with MBA
8-10 years’ RELEVANT experience.
Relationship building & networking experience at a strategic and executive level
Building and leading teams of specialists
Designing of- and delivering on a credit strategy
Implementation of large-scale credit systems and changes

Intrinsic Technical Skills:

Knowledge and understanding of SME and Business lending, in terms of:
Risk management
NCA compliance
Risk based pricing
Facility management
Securitisation
Factoring
In-depth knowledge of:
Intuitive lending
Regression techniques
Financial forecasting
Financial statement and ratio analysis
