JHB - Head of Finance required for specialised Training provider based in JHB

POSITION INFO:
A progressive and purpose-driven training company specialising in compliance training for the financial services sector is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Finance to join its leadership team in Johannesburg.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning
Oversee cash flow, compliance, payroll, tax, and audit processes
Provide strategic financial insight to support business growth
Manage and develop the finance team and systems
Partner with leadership on commercial and operational decision-making
Ensure strong governance and risk management practices

Requirements

Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification preferred
Minimum 5 years’ senior finance leadership experience
Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability
Experience in training, professional services, or financial services advantageous
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
