The Group consists of 4 divisions.
The Company has +- 200 employees distributed throughout the 4 businesses.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Leadership is the key requirement for this role.
- Qualified as a CA(SA) essential
- 5+ Years’ experience as a Senior Financial Manager
- Advanced knowledge of Evolution and SYSPRO is advantageous.
- Knowledge/Experience in Finnivo reporting system or similar will be advantages.
- Solid Understanding of IFRS reporting
- Commercial Acumen
- 5+ Experience in FMCG and/or Warehousing and Manufacturing Sector
JOB OBJECTIVE
- Lead yourself, the team, and the organisation for organisational success.
- Providing accurate financial reports and interpreting financial information with specific deadlines
- Ensure compliance of all statutory requirements within the finance arena
- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends
- Developing financial management controls to minimise financial risks.
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and net working capital projects
- Liaise with external auditors and internal auditors.
- Treasury function
- Work across the business to ensure buy in on financials and profitable growth.
- Conduct in-depth and accurate financial due diligence when required.
TASK DESCRIPTION
- Provide key financial metrics to ensure strategy growth potential.
- Prepare accurate financial and regulatory reports, Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flows as required by management, law, and top management.
- Monitor and provide information and insights to the executive team and participate in optimising the profitability and growth of the business.
- Consolidation of the Group financials monthly for reporting purposes to the Holding Group.
- Ensure effective and efficient delivery of all management reports in accordance with business requirements.
- Develop and analyse information to assess the current and future financial status of the business.
- Prepare and submit annual budget in line with the business strategy.
- Safe custody and control of assets, financial records, loan collateral, and securities.
- Prepare data pertaining to costs in order to plan budgets.
- Manage Net Working Capital, cash, and other key financial metrics.
- Manage financial risk across the business.
- Treasury function and review of collection reports
- Provide support, reports, and business solutions for the Business
- Budgetary decisions and planning to be effective to help grow profitability.
- Manage the quarterly forecasting.
- Adhere to the legislations (industry and financial)
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and reports as required.
- Manage assets and control of working capital.
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
- Preparation of annual financial statements and coordinating the audit process by liaising with auditors
- Liaising with stakeholders
- Monitor and support taxation issues.
- Credit management
- Payroll (compile and calculate Commissions and Variable earnings for payroll)
- Quarterly submission of corporate covenant to the bank
- Check and sign off payrolls.
