SUMMARY:
This position is suited to a qualified Chartered Accountant that has proven experience operating in capital intensive, asset driven environment. The role is responsible for designing and managing financing structures, asset level financial management, and endâtoâend revenue assurance. This includes oversight of financing transactions, full asset lifecycle management, ensuring billing accuracy, safeguarding revenue streams, and enabling scalable growth through effective, system driven processes.

POSITION INFO:
The Head of Finance will manage and oversee commercial finance activities; this is not a routine reporting position.

Lead assetâlevel financial management across the entire lifecycle
Ensure robust asset data, governance, and financial performance
Evaluate projects and assets by analysing returns on investment (ROI)
Manage complex financing transactions
Develop models to evaluate financing and capital structures
Lead asset securitisation arrangements
Oversee debt facilities linked to longâterm assets
Ensure financing structures align with longâterm contracts and cash flows
Monitor actual Bill of Material (BOM) consumption against expected usage
Identify variances between planned and actual material usage
Investigate and analyse the root causes of BOM variances
Work with operational and project teams to resolve discrepancies
Support cost control and margin protection through accurate BOM tracking
Billings, collections and revenue assurance
Enable scalable growth through effective, systemâdriven automation and processes

Desired Experience and Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (SA) / CA(SA) is essential
Must apply strong technical accounting judgement (IFRS)
Technical input on contract structuring, pricing models and commercials
Asset securitisation experience
Budgets and forecasts for area of responsibility
Experienced preparing and engaging in monthly board updates
Can implement revenue assurance frameworks
Previous experience with full asset lifecycle management
Support growth and expansion, thrives in a scaling business
Financial Modelling

Package and Remuneration
R 1 700 000 – R 1 800 000 per annum
