Head of Finance and Estates

POSITION INFO:
My client is a leader in the BPO space.

As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the below:

• Management and development of the finance & payroll functions, to deliver a high performing team.
• Annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts for review and sign off with the Finance Director.
• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts for the business.
• Oversee and manage cash flow to ensure that this is in line with business requirements.
• Oversee and manage investments to ensure that this is in line with Capex processes and commitments.
• Oversee and manage compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations and submissions.
• Implement and update financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all company financial policies are up to date and in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
• Create and maintain relationships with external stakeholders of the business.
• Effectively manage the performance of the Finance & Estates team to ensure that the team is a high performing team.
• Effectively manage employee engagements within the team.
• Motivate the Finance & Payroll team to ensure they constantly add value to the business.
• Provide overall commercial support to the business.
• Maintain a high working capacity environment.
• Oversee the maintenance across all SA sites, ensuring that all SLA’s are met.
• Manage the relationships with landlords for all SA properties as well as lease negotiations.
• Manage planned maintenance and routine or reactive maintenance / security of limited complexity in assigned buildings.
• Oversee and agree to contracts and providers for services, including security, parking, cleaning, catering, and technology etc.
• Compliance with all statutory, health & safety, security and relevant company policies.

• BCom (Honours) or equivalent qualification is required.
• CA(SA) or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced, cross-functional Group environment.
