A leading telecommunications company is on the hunt for a qualified CA(SA) to take on the pivotal role of Head of Financial Asset Management. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in asset lifecycle management, capital investment planning, and financial reporting who thrives in fast-paced, tech-forward environments.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

ð¹ Develop and implement robust financial strategies for asset management and optimisation
ð¹ Oversee capital expenditure planning and ensure alignment with business growth objectives
ð¹ Manage fixed asset registers, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and internal governance
ð¹ Conduct asset valuations, risk assessments, and scenario modelling
ð¹ Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams
ð¹ Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis for asset-related investments
ð¹ Drive process improvements and systems integration for asset reporting

Requirements:

âï¸ CA(SA) qualification is essential
âï¸ 5–8 years' post-article experience with a focus on asset management, capital planning, or infrastructure finance
âï¸ Strong technical background in IFRS, financial modelling, budgeting, and risk analysis
âï¸ Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure, or capital-intensive sectors is highly advantageous
âï¸ Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency
âï¸ Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
