POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and optimise secured lending and collections strategies across the retail and commercial portfolios.
Manage and mentor a dynamic team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Partner with analytics, credit risk, and operations to develop data-driven strategies that enhance efficiency and profitability.
Oversee end-to-end credit lifecycle management, from origination to recoveries.
Present insights and strategies to executive leadership and drive strategic initiatives across the business.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field (essential).
Experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in banking or financial services.
- Proven collections management experience within secured or unsecured lending.
- People management experience — leading high-performing analytical and operational teams.
- Strong background in credit risk, strategy design, and portfolio optimisation.
Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, SAS, or Python advantageous.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate analytics into actionable business results.
