POSITION INFO:
Job Description: This role involves: Developing and executing a risk-based Internal Audit Strategy and annual audit plan Providing independent assurance over governance, risk management, and internal control effectiveness Leading financial, operational, compliance, governance, and technology audit engagements Reporting key audit findings and emerging risks to executive leadership and the Audit & Risk Committee Driving continuous improvement of Internal Audit methodologies and quality assurance processes Implementing data analytics and technology-enabled auditing practices Monitoring remediation actions and validating the resolution of audit findings Managing relationships with executive stakeholders, external auditors, and assurance providers Leading, mentoring, and developing the Internal Audit team Promoting a culture of accountability, governance, and continuous improvement across the organisation Skills & Experience: Extensive Internal Audit leadership experience within a complex environment Strong knowledge of governance, enterprise risk management, and internal control frameworks Experience presenting audit findings to Boards and Audit & Risk Committees Strong understanding of IFRS, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements Experience leveraging data analytics to improve audit effectiveness Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and executive communication skills Qualification: CIA OR CA(SA) For more information connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
