An industrial group with a portfolio of businesses in the industrial goods and services nice is looking for a head of internal Audit. This group was founded in 1888 and listed on the JSE.

Do you have extensive Internal audit experience and ready to provide leadership and direction for the group internal audit function? This role is for you.

The successful candidate will perform the role of a Head of Internal Audit.

Provide leadership and direction of the group internal audit function – Develop and implement IA Strategy, performance measures, professional standards/policies and procedures, Determine the resources, expertise, qualifications and systems for the internal audit service that are required to meet internal audit’s objectives, Consult stakeholders, including senior managers and non-executive directors/elected representatives on internal audit plans, Manage, plan, budget and establish objectives of the internal audit department including quality control, all aspects of employee management and training and Ensure group internal audit plan is aligned to group strategy and objectives. Qualifications:

• B.Com Honours
• Qualified CA(SA) or Qualified CIA

Experience

• Membership with professional bodies
• 8 – 10 years relevant audit experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in managing a team
• Have had exposure in IT audits
• Must have worked in JSE listed environment
