POSITION INFO:

Qualifications

• Degree (Essential)
• Honours Degree
• CIA/CISA/CRMA/Postgraduate (Beneficial)
• Institute of Internal Auditors compliant (IIA).

Job Experience & Skills Required

• 10 years ‘experience in the audit space
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Maintaining and training the audit team
• Detailed knowledge on policies, procedures, and legislations
• Critical and analytical skillset
• Excellent conflict management skills
• Team orientated

Responsibilities

• Implementation of internal audit policies to ensure effective production in the audit department
• Prioritise and process audit plans that have been set by the audit committee, ensuring risk and compliance accountability.
• Planning and execution of the internal audit budget
• Coaching team members and providing recommendations to escalate their performance level
• Performing detailed analysis on complex audit processes
• Maintenance of on -site auditing and monitoring risk controls
• Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with the IIA standards, the requirements have been met adequately.
