POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

The Internal Audit Manager will manage the audit function to ensure that company objectives are met by reducing risk, conducting audit reviews, reporting on findings, and recommending ideas for improvement to address weaknesses.  The candidate must track and control the implementation of audit findings of management within the organisation.  An important duty assigned to this position is providing specialist advice on the effectiveness of company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify Key Business Risks
• Audit of Internal Controls and Governance
• Prepare and submit audit reports
• Personnel management
• Adhere to prescribed business practices, policies and standards

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Internal Audit
• Certification required (CIA)

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• A minimum of 8 years’ work experience in auditing
• 3 years in a managerial position
• Familiarity with regulations governing the finance sector is advantageous
• Maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Excellent problem-solving skills
