Head of Internal Audit

SUMMARY:
Looking for a candidate to occupy the role of Head Internal Auditor with the necessary experience in internal auditing.

POSITION INFO:

My client is an industry-leading global automotive company employing 350 000 individuals worldwide.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end audit functions, audit reviews and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relations. The incumbent must be an effective problem solver, value teamwork, be innovative and know how to function independently.

Duties:

• Identifying key business risks – assessments, compensation controls and audit scope development
• Auditing internal controls and governance
• Internal and external auditing compliance
• Preparing and submitting audit reports
• Managing audit department team and their HR matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Internal Auditing
• CIA qualification
• IIA membership

Experience:

• 8 years in auditing
• Min. 3 years managerial position
• Exposure to financial sector regulations - advantageous
