POSITION INFO:
The Head of Juicery & Factory Shop plays a critical role in driving the growth and sustainability of Sir Fruit's direct-to-consumer retail channel. This role exists to ensure that the Juicery and Factory Shop footprint operates as a commercially viable, well-controlled, and scalable business unit that enhances brand visibility, supports product movement, and delivers consistent customer experience. As this channel continues to evolve, the role is key to embedding core retail disciplines, improving operational efficiency, and unlocking future growth opportunities. The role is responsible for leading and managing the Juicery and Factory Shop operations across all locations, ensuring consistent sales performance, operational standards, stock control, and customer experience. The role is accountable for driving revenue growth, managing store performance, overseeing reporting and controls, and coordinating cross-functional activities across supply chain, finance, and marketing. The role requires a strong operational focus to ensure consistent execution of core retail disciplines across all stores, including stock management, merchandising standards, and service delivery. Marketing support will drive trade marketing and promotional activity, while the evolution of the Juicery model will allow for future enhancements to a more experiential offering, as the channel develops. Maintain store readiness, cleanliness, and compliance with quality and safety standards. Resolve operational issues and ensure continuity of trading Manage and support store supervisors and teams, ensuring accountability and performance. Drive training, onboarding, and capability development across stores. Ensure effective alignment and communication with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to support execution. Manage key service providers and partners supporting store operations Sales, Commercial & Financial Performance Take full ownership of store performance across all locations, including sales, margin, and profitability Monitor and drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, identifying underperformance and implementing corrective actions Manage promotional activity, pricing, and clearance strategies to drive revenue and minimise waste Review and interrogate store-level P&L performance, identifying key cost drivers, risks, and opportunities for improved profitability Manage and control store-related costs (labour, utilities, consumables, waste) in line with budget Drive actions to improve both top-line performance and bottom-line contribution across the channel Contribute to the development of the Juicery and Factory Shop strategy, including growth opportunities, store formats, and commercial approach Identify and evaluate potential new store locations, working with internal stakeholders to assess feasibility and commercial viability Support the evolution of the store concept from a transactional model to a more experiential offering, aligned to brand positioning and customer engagement Work with Marketing to enhance in-store experience through promotions, activations, and future experiential elements Balance sales growth with effective stock management and cost control to ensure sustainable and profitable operations Stock & Supply Chain Control Maintain visibility of stock across stores, including stock on hand, in transit, and on order. Ensure effective replenishment and availability aligned to demand and promotions. Monitor and resolve stock variances, shrinkage, and expiry risks. Work closely with Supply Chain and DCs to resolve stock and delivery issues. Reporting & Data Own the accuracy and integrity of all sales and operational data across core systems, including Pilot, ITD (AS1), and Livemetrics. Reconcile and validate data across systems, ensuring alignment between store-level activity, finance records, and system outputs. Identify and resolve system gaps, integration issues, and data discrepancies that impact reporting accuracy. Monitor daily and month-to-date performance using available dashboards and reports, ensuring visibility of sales, variances, and trends. Compile structured daily, weekly, and monthly reports, providing clear and reliable performance insights. Work closely with Finance and IT to resolve data issues relating to sales, cash\/card reconciliations, and reporting variances. Translate data into actionable insights, highlighting risks, underperformance, and opportunities for improvement What success in this role looks like: Success will be demonstrated through the establishment of a well-controlled, commercially effective, and scalable Juicery and Factory Shop operation that consistently delivers against sales, operational, and customer objectives. Minimum Requirements: Qualifications & Experience 5+ years' experience in retail, multi-site operations, or FMCG environments. Relevant qualification in Business, Retail, Supply Chain, or related field advantageous. Proven experience in sales performance management and reporting. Exposure to stock control, promotions, and supply chain coordination. Experience in evaluating store or site performance, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and expansion Exposure to store rollouts, new location assessments, or retail expansion initiatives would be advantageous Demonstrated ability to balance operational execution with commercial thinking and growth opportunities Experience working in environments where customer experience and brand engagement are key drivers of performance would be beneficial Experience working with multiple systems and data sources.
