Head of Marketing

SUMMARY:
Our client, a tech-platform company, seeks a Head of Marketing to join the team. This role will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy and managing the day-to-day running of the department.  Extensive experience in customer insight and digital marketing and optimizing CRM is key to the success of this role.  E-commerce background is essential.  You will be in an ever-changing and fast-moving environment – which subsequently makes prioritising effectively, communicating clearly and persuasively key. You will think and act both strategically and tactically - from strategic planning to detailed execution. You will quickly form data-driven plans and execute them across the company’s teams simultaneously. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the company. POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop annual and/ quarterly Marketing strategy – ensuring alignment to the business strategy.
• Manage the day-to-day execution of the marketing plan.
• Manage Marketing budget.
• Foster has a strong digital culture in the marketing department and organization.
• Ensure the company has a multi-functional, effective CRM system.
• Keep up-to-date with all strategic and content development to bring thought leadership and fresh, innovative developments to our brand and marketing growth strategy.
• Guide Marketing team monitor and assess user and customer experience, ensuring funnel optimisation.
• Through Marketing team - guide all marketing interventions to completion - to hit customer, order, and revenue goals across the multiple stakeholders on the tech platform i.e.:
• Create experiment frameworks, analyze results/ traffic data, problem solve and structure scalable campaigns across a variety of digital platforms.
• Develop weekly and monthly reporting that presents all key metrics, KPI''s, successes, problems, and learnings.
• Report progress against goals and relevant marketing metrics at regular intervals and ad-hoc.
• Manage and train the marketing team.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years marketing experience.
• Marketing bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years digital marketing experience and or in E-commerce.
• 5+ years of experience leading a team or organization with direct oversight of some or all the following: marketing strategy, merchandising, brand, promotions, mobile app marketing (iOS and Android), partnership marketing, funnel optimization, and e-commerce.
• Ability to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to detailed execution.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs, and communicate plans to senior executives.
• Ability to juggle a range of projects across the teams, balancing quality, and speed.
• High attention to detail, across both business and technical domains.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects across products.
