JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position : Head Of Marketing

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of different marketing channels from a financial and business intelligence perspective. To provide historical, current, and predictive insights into the different marketing channels on performance management,
budgeting, and methodology through best practice data analytics and reporting
to improve Return on Investment (ROI) and overall business performance.

Job Duties

Strategic Insights and Reporting

Set and lead execution of the data and analytics reporting plan, creating
strategies and templates to report data in a meaningful way. Create, present,
and communicate high-impact data and analytics insights and recommendations
to critical stakeholders.

Commercial Management

Manage commercial results of a medium to large business unit or product line by
analyzing customer and market trends, monitoring financial results, adjusting
plan as necessary, and optimizing use of resources.

Leadership and Direction

Identify and communicate the actions needed to implement the function''s
strategy and business plan within the business area or department; explain the
relationship to the broader organization''s mission, vision and values; motivate
people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve local
business goals.

Performance Improvement through Business Intelligence

Support creation of machine learning algorithms by applying standard statistical
analysis or data preparation methods.
Continuous Improvement
Review existing operations in relation to data in own area of work and implement
innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous
improvements are delivered.

Data Exploration

Conduct research and select relevant information to enable analysis of key
themes and trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.
Performance Management
Raise the skill level of the analytics, market research and finance function
through introduction of strong practices, processes, tools and close mentorship
of both direct reports and broader team

Financial Management & Control

Develop and/or deliver a plan for significant aspects of the financial management
and/or control process. Track the return on investment from the campaigns for all
direct marketing stakeholders

Stakeholder Engagement

Identify and manage stakeholders up to top management level, finding out their
needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the
development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of
business information and decisions.

Business Insight

Applies knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the
organization''s goals. For example, ensures that the team understands and
discusses relevant industry changes. Gives strong messages about how
people''s efforts make a difference to the broader organization.

Education

BSc ( Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics), BCom (Financial
Accounting)/ BCom (Informatics) / BCom
Marketing) / (Essential); Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or Computation
Science (Advantageous)

General Experience

Substantial general work experience together Over 6 years'' to 10 years
(Essential); at least 5 years'' of marketing experience (Advantageous)
Managerial Experience
6 years to 10 years'' experience of planning, managing and organizing resources
within short / medium timescales within the overall policy framework (Essential)
