Head of Marketing - Bryanston, Johannesburg

SUMMARY:
Our client requires a motivated individual to run their South African Marketing function The ideal candidate is a driven, self-starter, able to manage a dynamic range of tasks

POSITION INFO:

Job Specification

Individual may work with other external marketing professionals to develop materials, conduct market research, and develop strategies to improve company sales

Other tasks could include working closely with the business development team to plan and implement campaigns, determine what products or services need marketing, and implement these strategies

Strategy formulation, implementation, review

Ownership & co-ordination of SA marketing (attention to detail, executing of agreed plan & timeliness of delivery are key)

 Digital media

Events and forums

Collateral and content

Minimum Requirements

Relevant marketing experience and/or degree

Preferably experience working within Professional Services, Financial Services or Investments

Self- management

Proactive

Excellent attention to detail

Strong writing skills

Working knowledge of marketing practices together with great coordination and communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a small team and also a virtual team environment

Ability to present and defend marketing proposals

Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines

Ideally a working knowledge of: o Digital marketing methodologies o Desktop publishing software

Microsoft Office (including a good knowledge of formatting)

Social Media platforms

Website maintenance skills

CRM & Marketing Automation

Video editing software (nice to have)
