SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Research and Development Actuary. In this role, you will lead our Research and Development (R&D) team, driving innovation and excellence in actuarial methodologies and practices.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of actuaries and researchers in the development of cutting-edge actuarial models, tools, and techniques.
Drive research initiatives to enhance predictive modeling, risk assessment, and pricing strategies.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, underwriting, and data science to integrate research findings into business strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., FSA, FCAS, PhD) preferred.
Qualified actuary
10+ years experience within the insurance or reinsurance industry, with a focus on research and development
Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS for data analysis and modeling.
