SUMMARY:
Company based in Boksburg is seeking a Stores Controller / Engineering StoresÂ to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose

Manage and control engineering stores to ensure accurate stock control and availability of critical spares to support maintenance and operations.

Key Duties

Receive, store, and issue engineering spares and consumables.
Maintain accurate inventory records, bin locations, and stock levels.
Support procurement with purchase requisitions, quotations, and supplier follow-ups.
Capture all inventory transactions on the ERP system and assist with basic reporting.
Conduct stock counts and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure stores housekeeping, safety, and compliance with company procedures.
Support maintenance and production teams with timely material availability.

Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)
2â5 yearsâ experience in engineering stores or industrial environment
Working knowledge of mechanical components such as flanges, gaskets, pumps, valves, bearings, seals, fasteners, and fittings
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (beneficial)
ERP system experience (SAP / Dynamics GP / Syspro or similar)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
