SUMMARY:
Our client is a leading distributor of IP Convergence solutions is currently in search for a Head of Technology and Training.

POSITION INFO:
The Head of Department: Technical and Training will be responsible for the operational and strategic direction of the technical services department as well as the training department.
Both these departments are customer empowerment departments and a passion for networking technologies as well as customer satisfaction is critical to the role.
The HOD: Technical and Training will report directly to the Managing Director and requires highly effective communication, decision making, execution and leadership.
Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years IT/ICT experience, specifically in IP networking -
At least 5 years’ experience in managing a team
- Experience in SOP and Policy creation
- Technical trainer experience will be advantageous

Qualifications
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate
- BSc Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- ITIL qualification will be advantageous
- CCNA qualification will be advantageous
- Linux experience will be advantageous
