POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Hotel Accountant with 2–4 years of experience to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of financial processes within a vibrant service environment and contribute to the strategic growth of a premier hospitality establishment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight: Manage full accounting functions, including the general ledger, debtors/creditors, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
Strategic Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial reports to guide business health.
Compliance Management: Ensure precision in VAT, EMP201, and all statutory tax submissions.
Operational Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to provide financial insights that support operational excellence and strategic decision-making.
System Integrity: Maintain rigorous financial accuracy and compliance across all hotel operations.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 2–4 years of dedicated experience in hotel or hospitality accounting.
Technical Mastery: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and complex formulas).
Systems Fluency: Strong computer literacy with proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, Sage).
Mindset: An analytical thinker with an uncompromising eye for detail.
Soft Skills: A forward-thinking problem-solver who communicates effectively and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
