Hospitality Hire SA is recruiting on behalf of a busy corporate hotel in Pretoria. Weâre seeking a confident and capable Human Resources Officer to support the full HR function in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is solutions-driven, confident in labour compliance, and passionate about supporting both staff and management in a professional, people-centred way.

The Role

As the HR Officer, you will be responsible for HR administration and operational support across recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, and employee relations. You will ensure compliance with South African labour laws while helping to create a supportive and efficient workplace.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
Process payroll inputs and manage leave administration
Support employee relations and disciplinary procedures
Assist managers with HR policies, guidance, and general support
Ensure compliance with labour legislation and hotel HR standards

Minimum Requirements

HR qualification (Diploma or Degree)
2â3 yearsâ HR Officer experience in a hotel environment â non-negotiable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software systems
Excellent written and spoken English
Valid South African ID
