IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics Developer

POSITION INFO:

We are seeking an experienced IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics Developer on a 6 month contract basis to design, develop, and maintain financial performance management solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial modelling, data integration, report development, and system optimization using IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) technology.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain TM1 / Planning Analytics models, including cubes, dimensions, rules, and hierarchies.
Develop TurboIntegrator (TI) processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Perform financial and operational modelling for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Design and publish reports and dashboards using TM1 Web, Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), and Excel integration tools.
Integrate and automate data loading processes from multiple source systems.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for TM1 applications.
Optimize the performance of cubes, processes, and reports.
Manage TM1 application security, user roles, and permissions.

Project Management & Business Engagement

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial and operational performance projects.
Collaborate with finance, business analysts, IT, and stakeholders to deliver business-focused solutions.
Prepare system documentation, user guides, and conduct end-user training sessions.

Automation & Process Improvement

Automate routine reporting and data integration processes to improve efficiency.
Recommend and implement process improvements for system optimization and reporting enhancements.

Maintenance & Upgrades

Perform system administration, backups, upgrades, and patch management.
Ensure high availability, system integrity, and compliance with IT standards.
