Introduction:

• Our client is seeking a ICT Business Analyst, who can function in a highly-demanding role in a high-pressure environment, who is resilient and be able to work well under pressure.
• The Business Analyst will support the company’s growth strategy by gathering business requirements and facilitating business processes and technology changes. They will also drive the development of detailed business requirements and participate in the design, development, analysis and testing of business processes and technology changes

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Candidates are required to have a minimum of 3 years+ experience as a business analyst
• Diploma in Business Analysis
• Degree in IT (advantage)
• Project management qualification
• Prince II Foundation
• ITIL

Knowledge:

• Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
• Excellent practical understanding of process analysis and design; business process optimisation
• Mapping and tools
• Ability to facilitate requirements gathering and validation
• Good PM skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Job Description:

• Define and document business requirements
• Obtain documentation and engage with business users to understand the business
• Document the scope, expectations and timelines in consultation with the PM
• Use techniques such as brainstorming, document analysis, focus groups, workshops to elicit
• Complete and accurate business requirements for process or technology items
• Document Risks and issues identified by business participants
• System Solution Design and implementation support
• Participate in the development of functional and technical systems specifications
• Utilise techniques such as business rule analysis, modelling, data definitions, etc
• Governance
• Ensure that all requirements documents are produced within the organization’s standards
• Apply strict version control to requirements documentation
• Ensure that documents are properly approved and then stored accordingly.
