INVESTMENT ANALYST | PROJECT FINANCIER | ASSOCIATE (CA | CFA) – CBD, Cape Town

Reputable Investment firm within the Renewables arena is currently expanding their Investment team!

You have a strong desire to pursue or further develop your career within the private equity / project finance / renewables arena.

One would describe you as a highly organised teamplayer who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills.

Support the Investment team across all facets of deal activity and process life cycles.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assistance with the preparation of deal presentations, mandate proposals and/or request for proposal responses;
• All applicable research required re the preparation of Project Information Memorandums;
• Assistance with the drafting of term sheets (both debt and equity);
• Assistance with various financial model buildouts (both new builds and client adaptions);
• Assistance with the review of all legal documentation; and
• Any ad-hoc client specific requests captured under a respective mandate.

Qualification, Skills and Experience required:

• Qualified CA | CFA | Related Degree within Investment Banking is required
• Experience gained in taking multiple project finance deals through to financial close would be highly advantageous!
• Financial modelling skills is ideal
• Proven financial acumen with insight into financial principles and processes
• Highly proficient on MS Office
