SUMMARY:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset Management (ITAM) Coordinator to join a dynamic IT team. This role plays a critical part in strengthening IT asset visibility, compliance, and lifecycle management across the organisation.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities
1. IT Asset Management & Discovery

Monitor daily exceptions (e.g. non-reporting devices, unknown assets, missing agents)
Ensure accurate asset allocation to business units, cost centres, and pools
Manage IT asset leasing lifecycle (renewals, replacements, tracking)
Align asset data with Finance and leasing partners

2. Inventory & Audit

Perform regular reconciliations between physical assets and ITAM systems
Support internal and external audits
Maintain accurate asset records (tagging, serial numbers, locations)

3. Operational Support

Manage asset-related tickets (e.g. SysAid or similar tools)
Support onboarding and offboarding processes (asset allocation & returns)
Coordinate with Procurement and Desktop teams for repairs, warranties, and replacements
Escalate non-compliant devices (Microsoft Intune / SCCM)
Support patching and version control reporting

4. Reporting & Insights

Produce weekly and monthly compliance dashboards
Generate reports on asset visibility and usage
Identify gaps, trends, and root causes for non-compliance
Recommend process improvements

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in IT, Information Systems, Business, or related field
2–4 years’ experience in IT Asset Management, Desktop Support, or similar
Hands-on experience with ITAM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, SysAid, Reftab)
Experience with:
- Microsoft Intune
- SCCM / Configuration Manager
- Asset lifecycle management and audits
ITIL Foundation (advantageous)
IT Asset Management certification (advantageous)
Valid drier's license
Own reliable vehicle
