An established financial services company is looking for an experienced IT Auditor with a passion for African travel to join their ever-evolving Internal Audit Department, with operations that spreads through other African countries.

Reporting to the Head of IT Audit, the prosperous candidate will be required to assist in identifying and assessing specific and ad-hoc/unique strategic, operational, reporting, internal control and/or compliance risks, directly aligned to business strategy, digital transformation, IT infrastructure and architecture. In addition, this individual will be required to execute Technical Reviews Audits, General controls, Application controls, Security reviews, Project implementation reviews and other IT related audits.

Duties:

Draft and deliver annual audit reports
Deliver on operational and strategic goals
Identify risks and controls
Improve institutions operations
Basic data analytics
Reviewing and mitigating potential risks
Identification of process, information and control gaps
Stakeholder/EXCO engagement

Qualifications:

Degree in IS/IT, Informatics, Audit, BusSci or CompSci
CISA/CISM/CRISC – preferred
COBIT/ITIL/CGEIT

Experience:

4 years IT Audit experience
Understanding COBIT governance, King IV & ISO 27001/17799
SQL/IDEA/Linux/CAATS
