The ideal candidate will be a highly productive and motivated individual, proficient in a range of appropriate technologies and with a demonstrable track record of supporting large environments, and familiarity using Azure, O365, and Microsoft on-premises technologies. Due to technological advances and the strategic direction of the organisation, the individual will be working in a constantly evolving working environment.  

The IT Engineer is required to stay current in the fast and ever-changing world of innovation and technology such as new features in Azure, O365, and Microsoft on-premise server software; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organisations. Above all, you will need to be keen to work in a team to contribute to the achievement, goals, and aspirations of the organisation. The ideal candidate needs to also have the ability to work independently.

Education:

BSc in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field

Accreditation/Certifications

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate beneficial

Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate beneficial

Job Experience & Skills Required:

4 - 5 years or more of experience:

Configuration and Decommissioning of Azure infrastructure as required

Experience as an Azure Engineer/Administrator/Architect

Good knowledge of Azure, O365 and other Microsoft Technologies

Basic networking knowledge

Reviewing new changes to Azure infrastructure

Good Troubleshooting capabilities

Excellent communication skills

Updating and maintaining baselines for resources

Managing permissions into the environment

Monitoring of security events of the business infrastructure and actioning remediation steps

Monitoring of Event logging and troubleshooting

Providing Support for clients with issues with their collectors
