• Microsoft Hyper-V

  • Build Hyper-V admin skills on fundamental Windows Server

    knowledge

  • Hyper-V deployments depend on failover clustering, Virtual Switch Administration

• Networking & Routing

  • Installing and Configuring computer networks using routing,

    Switching Layers, Gateway, MAC filter, IP forwarding

  • identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems

• VMware vSphere

  • VMware administrators build and install computer infrastructure,

    which encompasses hardware, servers, and virtual machines,.

    VCentre , VSphere ESXi Licensing , Virtual Switching , DAS iSCSI

• Perform Monitoring

  • Capable to analyse Windows log for Performance, event Logs

• NAS

  • Basic Administration, Quota Management, Access Management, LUN, RAID Configuration

• Windows Administration – Server 2021, 2016, 2019

  • In-Depth Knowledge of Windows Administration, AD

  • Teaming Configuration with different mode, DNS, OU, Domain

§  Roles and Responsibilities

• Creating/Editing/Decommissioning of VMs.

• Assignment and management of VM IPs on a portal.

• Updating ESXi, vSphere and vCenter quarterly.

• Communicating any changes made to the virtual environment via SMAX to concerned company groups.

• Ad hoc management of vCenter and ESXi configurations as and when

required.

• Maintaining vSphere configurations (including network configs) across the platform (all physical servers).

• Troubleshooting VM, vSphere, vCenter and ESXi issues as and when they occur.

• Monitoring resource usage of both VM and physical servers via

vSphere.

• Monitoring physical servers and SAN storage systems for resource usage issues.

• Placing servers in quarantine when hardware issues occur.

• Visiting Data centres for inspection and rectification when and

where required.

• Reaching out to vendors for hardware support, including replacement of storage disks, server parts and in rare cases, complete servers.

• Updating all server and storage firmware and middleware quarterly.

• Communicating any major changes made to the infrastructure via

SMAX to concerned company groups.

• Arranging transport of equipment between data centres and the office as and when required.
