IT Governance Officer

SUMMARY:
Our Client an ISO/OHSAS consultancy and systems implementation firm is seeking to urgently appoint an IT Governance Officer / Legal Advisor on Fixed Term Contract:

POSITION INFO:

IT Governance Officer / Legal Advisor

Centurion

R 18 000 - R 22 000 pm

Required skills set:

• Must have ability to create legal registers; manage projects and implement POPIA, OHS Act, and NEMA
• Able to revise program materials and share knowledge on various Acts
• Must comprehend technical language - confer, analyse and write in an objective, clear manner - able work independently 

Required technical knowledge

• POPIA; OHS Act; NEMA; Governance frameworks; King IV; Prince 2; SA Legislation;
• Industry knowledge of telecommunication, construction, mining, and professional services
• Knowledge of International legislation and ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 22301 will be advantageous

Minimum requirements:

• BCom Law
• Certificates in cyber security, governance or any other related fields
• Advanced MS Office user with ERP and CRM user experience
• 3-5 Years'' experience in same environment and similar current designation
• Working knowledge of OHS Act and environmental (NEMA)
• Knowledge of POPIA compliance / implimentation essential
• Experienced in Legal compliance and Audits
• Valid driver’s licence and able and willing to travel locally or internationally - as and when required
