SUMMARY:

Distribution Company in the Southern Suburbs has a vacancy for an IT Infrastructure Engineer who will report to the ICT Manager

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Bolster the ICT department, with the view to support and develop the company’s users, clients, stakeholders, etc., and to assist with the expansion of their ICT infrastructure
Must be able to work in a team, and function independently, to perform a variety of functions within the ICT and related field
Responsible for collaborating with all the divisions across the business network, to install, manage, analyze, and diagnose computer issues, monitor processing functions, install relevant software and perform tests on computer equipment and applications when necessary
Train the company''s employees, clients, and other users on any new programs, platforms or functionality

Requirements:

Grade 12
Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience in a similar role
High level technical knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware and applications
Well-versed in troubleshooting, analysis, networks and systems design
Ability to solve complex problems and see projects through to completion
Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest ICT technology and software trends
Microsoft Office 365 Implementation and Support Experience
Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP Support experience
Back-end experience
Cloud experience
Lots of database experience
