JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive Industry has an EE opportunity available for an IT Infrastructure Team Lead to be based in the Benoni, Johannesburg area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

College certificate / diploma.
3 - 5 Years’ experience in RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) with
strong SQL (Structured Query Language) skills in Oracle.
3 - 5 years’ experience with Technical IT environment.
Code 8 drivers License.
Exposure to the JD Edwards ERP.
Knowledge of ITIL Practices
Knowledge of COBIT Framework
Knowledge of standard PC software and network Protocols.
Knowledge of PC/Server/Printer hardware, installation or upgrading of equipment and correct configuration of network cards.
Knowledge of Windows networking concepts, e.g. Domain security model (CIS Standards), login scripts and able to debug and resolve connectivity issues.
Knowledge of Network infrastructure, cabling types and devices, e.g. hubs, switches, fibre optic cable and transceivers.
Understand concept of routers, NTU’s and their roles.
Administration of Windows servers, creation and management of users and GPO’s
Familiar with PC software, installation of Microsoft Office Suite, and other software packages.
Knowledge of network and shared printing services
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server Administration (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003/2010/2013 Administration.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008/2012/2014/2016 Administration.
Knowledge of VMware Server virtualisation
Knowledge of Veeam Backup and Replication

KPAs:

Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
Ensure that controls are in place with regards to the security of information
Ensure appropriate security and backup policies are in place for the safeguarding of company systems.
Maintain all computer system (hardware and software) and provide recommendations for upgrades and enhancements.
Manage IT resources, infrastructure, and human capital.
Ensure the management of IT assets is tracked and reported on.
Ensure management of IT contracts and agreements (Vendor Management
Strategic focus on customer services.
Ensure Availability of infrastructure and systems
Ensure only authorised software is installed on company computer equipment
