JOB SUMMARY:
Our clients, a giant in the Retail sector is looking is on the hunt for a phenomenal hands on IT Manager with Syspro and SQL experience. The environment is filled with amazing ,dynamic and like minded IT sales representatives who thrive on innovative sales techniques.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Maintain the IT infrastructure consisting of on-site and cloud environment.
Define security and network policies together with the successful
implementation, management, and the monitoring thereof.
Protection of data through backups and replication with strong policies to
maintain and monitor.
Experience with SQL Replication and Reporting
Strong knowledge to implement and maintain virtual environments.
Extensive experience with Hyper-V environments
Network design maintain and implementation with proven experience.
Experience with Dell managed switches, Fortinet firewalls, VLAN technology, Cisco and Ubiquiti AP’s
Extensive knowledge on telephony systems especially network requirements,
VOIP and troubleshooting Risk management.
Strong skills for daily operational challenges and the managing of support team,
optimisation of support tasks, preventive maintenance, patch management and server/application upgrades.
Management of assets, asset replacement, lease agreements and support contracts.
Steer and administer the current projects with cost projections, planning and implementation.
Budget planning and control looking at staff resourcing, contracts, licensing and assets.
Maintain vendor and supplier relations.
Manage 1st and 2nd line technical support personnel.
Produce management reports Monthly and as required.
Manage and report on root cause analysis and remedial action.
Ensure the ticketing and documentation process for all support incidents is
adhered to.
Manage on-site support services as required.
Manage support staff by training, upskilling, and recruiting
Define and manage the QA/QC testing process for all software and hardware
releases.
Experience with SQL replication.
Clear understanding of Microsoft 365 administration, compliance and security.

Advantage skills to have

Syspro Knowledge
Skills with Qlikview range of products.
Qwix for warehouse management
Understanding of SQL and Report writing
Microsoft 365 management experience
Microsoft certifications
