JOB SUMMARY:
Our client based in Edenvale has an opportunity available for an IT Manager (Generalist) to join their organisation and manage all IT functions for their branch.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications required:

Relevant degree / diploma

Skills and experience required:

3-5 years’ experience in an IT Manager role
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems

Job description:

Report to MD
Receive support from head office
Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks
Assist all departments rectify any IT issues
Software and hardware updates
VPN access for remote workers
Network security
Manage projects to implement new systems and technologies
Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components
Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources
Maintain an inventory of the organisations IT and their lifespans + plans for upgrades
