IT Project Manager

SUMMARY:
A leading organisation is seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Project Manager to manage and deliver strategic technology projects across Operating Systems, Applications, and Consumer-Facing Technology environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects in accordance with Project Management Office (PMO) standards, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget while supporting key business objectives.

POSITION INFO:
Key Duties & Responsibilities Manage IT projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. Ensure all projects are documented and governed according to PMO standards and processes. Develop project charters, business cases, scope documents, project management plans, schedules, and work packages. Coordinate and assign the appropriate business and technical resources to project teams. Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Manage project risks, issues, budgets, dependencies, and change requests. Escalate critical risks, issues, and decisions to ensure project success. Ensure project objectives remain aligned to strategic business priorities. Maintain accurate project documentation, meeting minutes, and audit records. Drive effective change management, budget management, and risk management practices. Essential Requirements Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7). Formal Project Management qualification. PMP certification, or registration for the PMP examination, will be advantageous. Experience 3-5 years' experience in Project Management. Proven experience managing projects of moderate complexity and scope, including budget management. Experience working within established project management standards, procedures, and governance frameworks. Exposure to all phases of the project lifecycle. Experience with consumer technology and AI-related projects, including: CRM implementations eCommerce platforms Payment solutions POS implementations Consumer-facing digital technologies Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and\/or PRINCE2 methodologies will be advantageous.
