IT Project Manager

SUMMARY:
Looking for a project manager to be based in Centurion with one of the leading insurance companies, a six-month contract with the possibility of going permanent.

POSITION INFO:

• Activity and resource planning: define the project’s scope and determine available resources
• Creation of a clear and concise project plan to both execute the project and monitor its progress
• Organizing and motivating the project team
• Develop a clear, straightforward plan that ensures the project team reaches their full potential. Controlling time management, set realistic deadlines, and communicate them consistently to the team
• Define the various project activities
• Sequence the activities
• Estimate the duration of the activities and develop and maintain a schedule 
• Ensure the project is kept within its set budget. Frequently reviewing the budget and plan ahead to avoid budget overruns
• Ensuring customer satisfaction, minimize uncertainty, avoid any unwanted surprises
• Effectively communicate project status to the project sponsor, analyzing and managing project risk.
• Meticulously and intuitively, identify and evaluate potential risks before the project begins, thereby avoiding any risks or at least minimize their impact during project execution. Monitoring progress
• Monitor and analyze both expenditure and team performance and always efficiently take corrective measures.
