Looking for a project manager to be based in Centurion with one of the leading insurance companies, a six-month contract with the possibility of going permanent.

Job description

Activity and resource planning: define the project’s scope and determine available resources
Creation of a clear and concise project plan to both execute the project and monitor its progress
Organizing and motivating the project team
Develop a clear, straightforward plan that ensures the project team reaches their full potential. Controlling time management, set realistic deadlines, and communicate them consistently to the team
Define the various project activities
Sequence the activities
Estimate the duration of the activities and develop and maintain a schedule
Ensure the project is kept within its set budget. Frequently reviewing the budget and plan ahead to avoid budget overruns
Ensuring customer satisfaction, minimize uncertainty, avoid any unwanted surprises
Effectively communicate project status to the project sponsor, analyzing and managing project risk.
Meticulously and intuitively, identify and evaluate potential risks before the project begins, thereby avoiding any risks or at least minimize their impact during project execution. Monitoring progress
Monitor and analyze both expenditure and team performance and always efficiently take corrective measures.
