Job & Company Description

One of the big banks is looking to hire an IT Risk Analyst. The candidate should have an appetite for the risk industry and be able to fit in risk committees. The candidate should have banking or insurance exposure. This is a senior position therefore the candidate will be expected to work independently and hit the ground running.

Duties

Plan and oversee implementation of strategic projects.
Monitoring regulates entities exposure to IT Risk.
Participation and contribution to Own Risk Self Assessments of regulated entities within IT.
Provide IT Risk specialist support.
Develop and present training material throughout the PA with regards to IT.
Ensure regulated entities compliance with governing operations risk.
Supervise the regulation of risk in the bank.
Lead subordinates to greatness.
Contribute effectively risk committees.

Qualifications

A degree in IT/ Informatics or Risk Management.
Honors in the above fields will be to your advantage.
An additional advantage would be a CISA/ CGEIT/CISM or CRISC.

Experience

5-8 years’ experience within a similar position
Banking or Insurance industry exposure would be beneficial.
Corbit or Project or IT Project management experience.
