Job & Company Description

One of the big banks is looking to hire an IT Risk Analyst. The candidate should have dealt with IT/RISK for +/-8 years. The candidate should have banking experience or insurance. This is a senior position therefore the candidate should be able to work independently and only apply if you are meeting the required number of years of experience.

Duties

Oversee implementation of strategic projects.
Monitoring regulation entities.
Participation and contribution to Own Risk Self Assessments of regulated entities within IT.
Providing IT Risk specialist support.
Present training material throughout the PA with regards to IT.
Ensure regulated entities compliance with governing operations risk.
Supervise the regulation of risk in the bank.
Lead subordinates.
Commit and contribute effectively risk committees.

Qualifications

A degree in IT/ Informatics or Risk Management.
An additional advantage would be a professional designation.

Experience

5-8 years’ experience within a similar position
Corbit or Project or IT Project management experience.
