Essential Skills

• You own it — as a Sub Product Owner, you're the face, brain, and heart of your product.
• Strong IT project management and leadership of tech teams.
• Top-tier leadership skills to steer big teams with calm confidence.
• Able to juggle a dozen priorities without dropping any.
• Fantastic communicator — techies and non-techies both love you.
• Visionary thinker who translates business needs into brilliant solutions.
• Agile isn’t just a buzzword for you — it's how you breathe.
• Master of Jira, Confluence, and the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.

• German language skills (very advantageous)
• Development background in Java, cloud or similar technologies
• You’re a presentation pro, an organising expert, and a time-taming specialist.
• Strong business understanding, excellent soft skills, and a true servant leader mindset

• A degree in IT / Business / Engineering
• 5+ years leading teams and owning outcomes
• 8+ years in software development and IT business analysis
• 15+ years in the tech industry overall
• Excellent communication, negotiation, time management, and problem-solving skills

• Own all aspects of the Sub Product – backlog, quality, delivery
• Be the first point of contact for your product and its applications
• Prioritise, plan, and handle escalations efficiently
• Guide your team toward production stability and high performance
• Communicate directly with the Product Owner in Germany and Delivery Manager in South Africa
• Mentor, coach, and support your team while building a strong team culture
• Proactively remove impediments and plan ahead with a strategic mindset
• Engage with business departments as a true partner
