A global online casino and sportsbook company are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their team in Cape Town! This role involves offering technical support to their customers while working with various internal teams such as Engineering and Infrastructure teams, ensuring that incidents and support queries are responded to and resolved well within agreed timeframes. Your key job responsibilities as the IT Support Engineer in Cape Town will include:

Providing immediate solutions to staff and clients regarding IT issues, in addition to offering help desk support to the head office
Installing and configuring hardware operating systems and applications
Maintaining systems and networks
Constantly reviewing and improving processes
IT project work, as required

Requirements for this IT Support Engineer job in Cape Town:

Experience in Technical Support or Development
Experience in the iGaming sector will be highly advantageous
Highly motivated and ambitious individual
Proactively drive issue investigation to resolution involving other parties and escalating where needed
Working knowledge of AWS ecosystem
Strong knowledge & experience in web application development
Strong knowledge of database design and development experience (SQL and NoSQL)
Experience in engineering, operating, or supporting a 24/7 high availability service/platform
