JOB SUMMARY:
Our Client based in Rivonia is looking for a IT Systems Technician - Retail

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

10 Years’ experience in a non-corporate retail, sales & distribution environments
Installing, configuring and administering Linux of any flavour is an essential requirement
Remote and on-site analysis of clients LAN, WAN, Servers and retail-centric hardware and software peripherals and repairs and maintenance there-off
Must reside within 20 Km radius of offices
Maintain and support our internal systems: Linux, Windows, VM Server and Network
Installation, maintenance and support of client infrastructure
Travelling to clients to provide on-site support
Must have a proven track record of employment in the retail sector
Well versed with all versions of Microsoft Windows (7, 8,10) (10 years)
Experience - Linux systems (10 years)
Experience with shell and batch scripting (10 years)
Experience - data backup systems (10 years)
Experience - NAS devices and live streaming backup systems (3 years)
Experience and understanding - LAN, WAN, VPN, Routing (10 years)
