JOB SUMMARY:
The position requires an experienced and suitably qualified Systems Administrator, who is accountable, detail orientated, meticulous and knowledgeable.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Requirements:

Proactively maintain, monitor and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations, including the server room and related systems.
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary.
Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Configure, monitor, and maintain MS Exchange & Office 365 environments and virus protection systems.
Liaises with 3rd party vendors to resolve escalated and problems and queries
Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
Configure, monitor, and maintain redundant power sources – Eskom, generator, UPS and solar panels to ensure uptime on critical systems.
Monitor network performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
Configure, monitor and maintain Azure platform servers and networking.
Adhere to the company changes and ISO27001 protocols, procedures and controls
Knowledge of firewall security systems, preferably FortiGate
Ensure that all switched networks are running at optimal level.
Second level support to the IT/Helpdesk team to make sure any internal PC problems get resolved ASAP.
Manage the access control system of the internal office.
Knowledge of Mimecast administration is an advantage.

Qualifications:

MCSE/MCP, N+ or relevant experience
FortiGate NSE 1 and 2 or relevant experience
Azure 500 or relevant experience
