DEMAND GENERATION / SALES TEAM LEADER
LOCATION - Johannesburg or Cape Town (Hybrid)

Are you an outbound B2B sales leader who knows how to build pipeline, coach teams, and lead from the front?
We’re recruiting for a well-established international technology business delivering cutting-edge cloud-based communications solutions (UCCaaS). They are looking for a Demand Generation / Sales Team Leader to build and lead a high-performing Sales Demand Representative function from the ground up — supporting both local and international markets.
This is a true builder role. No legacy team. No fixed playbook. You’ll create it.

POSITION INFO:

What You’ll Be Doing

Build, lead, and scale an SDR / outbound function
Set KPIs, manage performance, and coach the team
Own outbound strategy, sequences, and cadences
Drive CRM excellence (Salesforce) and pipeline reporting
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and channel teams on targeting and messaging

What We’re Looking For

3–5+ years in B2B SDR, BDR sales and outbound prospecting within Software, Cloud, Contact Centre Solutions, or related ICT industries.
Strong understanding of how marketing campaigns work in conjunction with sales and experience in briefing marketing teams for specific campaigns.
Experience working hand in hand with marketing on creating demand generation campaigns.
Strong communication and objection-handling skills
Hands-on experience with Salesforce and outbound tools
Data-driven, organised, and performance-focused
Team leadership or mentoring experience advantageous
Background in B2B tech, SaaS, cloud, or CX solutions required
Exposure to tools like Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6Sense, or Pardot beneficial
Relevant diploma or degree
