POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a motivated and service-oriented First Line IT Technician to join their team in Gauteng. This role involves providing first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and excellent customer experience across the organisation.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

A relevant IT qualification or Diploma (CompTIA A+/N+, or similar)
1–2 years of experience in a First Line Support or IT Technician role
Experience with Windows operating systems, Office 365, and basic network troubleshooting
Understanding of Active Directory and user account management
Knowledge of ticketing systems and IT service desk processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A customer-centric attitude and strong troubleshooting skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-line support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Log and track support requests through the ticketing system
Escalate complex issues to second line support when necessary
Assist with user onboarding and account setup
Maintain accurate documentation and technical records
