Our client, located in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, that specialise in Document Management and Custom Software Development are looking for an Implementation Consultant. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Quality Management, as a Business Process Improvement Analyst, or in a similar role. The candidate will get full training in the software and position within the 1st few months. Good technical aptitude is essential, as a large part of the role requires a solid understanding of software applications, basic system configuration, and integration methods. We envision that the job function will grow into the more technical side of implementation over time. Comprehensive formal and on-the-job training will be provided. Key Areas of Responsibility Project scoping, documentation, project planning, and implementation coordination. Customer relationship management and client liaison, ensuring expectations are set and managed with both internal and external stakeholders. Creating and maintaining scoping documents, implementation guides, training manuals, and other project documentation. Assisting clients with business process consulting, helping them expand their system implementation to meet business requirements and advising on best practice. User training and assisting users with basic system queries. M-Files application administration and configuration. Testing basic system configurations before client handover. Assisting clients with preparing and cleaning up data or documents for implementation. Providing basic post-go-live support and troubleshooting. Assisting with meeting coordination, taking notes, tracking action items, and following up on outstanding client requirements. The Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following Skills and Competencies A fairly good understanding of various industry business workflows and processes such as document approval processes, quality-management processes, purchasing, finance, HR, project administration, sales, and general operational workflows. The candidate should be able to listen to how a client currently works, understand the basic process, identify areas where documents or information can be managed better, and assist in configuring a practical solution. Must be strongly technically inclined. The candidate should be comfortable learning new software, configuring systems, working with documents and data, and troubleshooting basic technical issues. An interest in software applications, integrations, and how systems work together is important. Must be a people person and able to communicate well on a professional level. The role involves regular interaction with clients, so the successful candidate must be friendly, confident, patient, and able to explain software and processes clearly to users with different levels of technical knowledge. Minimum Requirements Must currently reside in or around Cape Town. Must have own vehicle and license Must be fluent in both Afrikaans and English. Must have a good understanding of business in general. Preferably 3 years of experience in documenting business process Advantageous Qualifications Tertiary degree or certification in a related field, for example IT, Business Management, Quality Management, or similar.
