SUMMARY:
DBN000344 - Industrial Automation Sales Manager - Montague Gardens

Purpose of the Job:
To drive industrial automation sales growth by developing channels, managing partners, and providing technical sales expertise.

Required Qualifications:

3–5 years’ progressive sales experience in industrial automation, including 2–3 years in channel sales or partner management.
Good technical understanding of industrial automation products, solutions, and applications.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
Proficient in CRM systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel frequently within South Africa and internationally when required.
Valid driver’s licence and responsible driving record.

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience: Develop channel strategies and recruit new partners to drive market growth. Build strong partner relationships and provide sales and product support. Achieve targets, manage pipelines, forecasts, and identify growth opportunities. Provide technical advice on industrial automation products and solutions. Monitor industry trends, competitors, technology, and legislation. Work with suppliers, branches, sales, procurement, marketing, and management to deliver business objectives. Behavioral Competencies: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong EQ with a natural ability to build relationships and influence. Strategic, organized, and results-driven with strong business acumen. Able to develop and execute sales plans and consistently achieve targets. Detail-oriented, logical, and effective in fast-paced, process-driven environments.
