JOB SUMMARY:
Position available for an Industrial Engineer who will be responsible for establishing process Manufacturing Manuals and Operator Manuals to contribute towards the Productivity of Manufacturing of Automotive parts. B Tech in Industrial Engineering.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Industrial Engineer: Process/ Productivity
Cape Town
The Industrial Engineer required, will form part of the engineering release process and will be responsible for industrial and process engineering related functions.
The ideal candidate possesses the ability to readily adjust to changing priorities, is innovative and self-driven while working well within a team.
Qualification:
B Tech in Industrial Engineering
Technical and Software:

Understanding of time study and production line balancing
Good to Advanced MS Office skills
3D Modelling Software Experience
NX Uni graphics, Assault Composer and Siemens Team Centre would be an advantage

Role Specific

He/she will work with the engineering team to review and approve sub-systems for each product line in terms of build feasibility.
Set-up detailed production line process models detailing how and where sub-assemblies get installed on the production floor, as well as investigate issues found on the production line and the corrective action(s) thereof.
