SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to oversee and optimise their organisation’s IT infrastructure.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical oversight
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of servers, networks, storage, and cloud environments
Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability across all systems
Develop and implement infrastructure strategies, policies, and standards
Manage vendors, contracts, and service providers to ensure service excellence
Monitor system performance and drive proactive improvements
Oversee disaster recovery planning, execution, and documentation
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to support technology initiatives
Manage budgets, resource planning, and project delivery

Job Experience and Key Requirements:

5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a senior infrastructure role
Strong knowledge of networking, server environments, virtualization, and storage solutions
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Proficiency with security principles, firewalls, and identity/access management
Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational abilities
Experience with ITIL or other service management frameworks is an advantage
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Skills:

Relevant Certifications: Microsoft Azure, Cisco, VMware, ITIL, and CompTIA
Experience with automation, scripting, or DevOps practices
Exposure to hybrid cloud architecture and modernisation projects
