SUMMARY:
Our client in the Insurance Industry has an opportunity available for an Insurance Advisor - New Business Commercial, to be based in the Johannesburg area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Matric
Level 4 FETC in Short-term Insurance
Passed RE Qualification - representatives
Minimum of 4 years’ experience within short term personal lines insurance, including 2 years in a Sales Environment
Knowledge of Underwriting Criteria
Knowledge of FAIS requirements of a representative
Understanding of the insurance and brokerage industry and environment

KPAs:

Grow portfolio
Load policies, amendments and endorsements on the system promptly
General correspondence and e-mails to clients according to company standards
Provide after sales service to ensure/ new business Vest
Negotiate with Insurers Re- Premium and Quotations
Do up and cross -selling on existing and new business
