POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
A high-impact contract opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who can step in immediately and take control of a finance function during a pivotal period. This role is suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and can bring structure where it’s needed most.

You will work closely with senior leadership, driving stability, improving controls, and supporting key audit and funding processes. There is potential for this role to evolve into a permanent position depending on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of the finance function and team
Stabilise financial operations and implement controls
Lead and manage finance team performance
Prepare for audits and support funding processes
Manage cash flow and working capital
Provide strategic financial insights to leadership

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

CA(SA) preferred / CIMA or equivalent

Experience:

5–8 years’ experience with leadership exposure
Experience in fast-paced or high-growth environments
Proven track record in building processes and controls
Experience with audits and funding processes

Skills:

Strong leadership and decision-making ability
Process improvement and control implementation
Cash flow management
Resilience under pressure
Strong communication and stakeholder management
