POSITION INFO:

ROLE PURPOSE:

We are looking for an intermediate automation tester to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for writing test cases as well as automating the test cases under the supervision of the Test Lead.

Working within the QA and engineering team, this role focuses on building and evolving shared test automation frameworks and tools used across multiple engineering teams.The position plays a key role in enabling reliable automated testing within development workflows and improving product quality through scalable automation solutions.

Engineers in this role are expected to leverage modernAI-assisted development practices to improve testing productivity while maintaining strong engineering discipline and building reliable, maintainable automation systems.

REQUIRED ABILITIES, BEHAVIOR AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications & Experience

. Matric / Grade 12

. 3–5 years of experience in software testing and test automation.

Diploma/Degree and/or relevant certification including ISEB/ISTQB Certification.

. Experience developing automated tests for APIs, services, and application platforms.

. Experience building or contributing to automation frameworks.

. Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Experience working across multiple development teams or systems.

. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
